SUNY OER Services Impact

Since 2017, New York State has invested $4 million annually in open educational resources adoption and growth while supporting faculty choice.  With this investment, SUNY OER Services works with SUNY campuses to reduce the cost of learning materials for students by providing an OER course catalog, drives teaching and learning innovation through open pedagogy, and develops sustainable frameworks for continued growth.
